Lisa Rose Studio & Designs was created by Lisa Rosemann, an artist that began her professional career five years ago. She acquired her academic education as an artist from attending The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL and Milwaukee School of Art and Design, Milwaukee, WI. And continued her quest for knowledge with the Ragdale Foundation for the Arts, Lake Forest, IL, The International Academy of Decorative Arts, St. Louis, MO, and Capé Designs, Fox Rover Grove, IL. Lisa Rose Studio and Designs is a member of SALI,Stencil Artisans League, Inc., a national guild of decorative artisans. With many years of experience, Chicago-land based artist Lisa Rosemann is recognized as a fine art muralist, and expert decorative painter using traditional painting techniques for transforming classic and contemporary interiors. Lisa’s work is both figurative and ornamental, and is strongly influenced by images of nature and figures; the pronounced colors of a flower petal lost in foliage, reflection of light emerging through clouds, expression of a wrinkle that accents a smile, or the contour of a silhouette. The paintings of many great artist have influenced her work also such as; Turner, Constable, Friedrich, Degas, Cassatt, Van Gogh, Kandinsky, and Munch to name a few, along with the patterns and textures of anything beautiful she encounters.
